Childhood Ministry: Growing Kids God’s Way

Swansea Baptist Church seeks to provide a balanced ministry which helps each child to develop physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually from a Biblical point of view.  Our goal is to establish a firm foundation of faith that will lead each child into a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

“Then all your children will be taught by the Lord, their prosperity will be great, and

 you will be established on [a foundation of] righteousness.”

Weekly, we offer Sunday School classes for all ages, mission education for children ages 3-years old through the 6th Grade, and Children’s Choir for children in Kindergarten through the 6th Grade.   We provide Extended Teaching Care, a time of additional Bible teaching, for Birth-Kindergarten during all regularly scheduled worship services, parent classes, and some special events.  We seek to provide additional times of fun and fellowship during the year, which may include:  Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, Parents’ Day Out Christmas Party.
