The Deacons' Ministry is an integral part of the overall ministry focus at Swansea Baptist Church and is based solely on the Word of God.  The Deacons' Ministry supports and facilitates the accomplishment of the church's vision, mission, and goals.  Specific Deacons' Ministry goals are to serve Christ in all we do and say; meet spiritual needs; foster church unity; support and care for the Pastor and his family; and work closely with the Pastor in shepherding the flock.  Regularly scheduled deacons' meetings, holding each other accountable, mentoring, providing Godly leadership, and teaching the Word of God and sound doctrine facilitates the accomplishment of these goals.  The Swansea Baptist Church deacons are fully committed to the Bible as the inspired inerrant Word of God; to Godly authority; to our Pastor; to our fellow deacons; to our church body; and to God as we endeavor every day to be found faithful and obedient, always doing that which is right in the eyes of the Lord our God.
