A Message from our Pastor: Rev. Wilson Wickiser

Thank you for visiting Swansea Church’s website. I sincerely hope you’ll be blessed as you browse the site. Swansea Church is a Southern Baptist Congregation located in Swansea, Illinois. What will you find when you visit Swansea Church? You’ll find a congregation that loves God and loves others. You’ll find a church built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. You’ll find a church in which the Word of God has preeminence. At Swansea Church you’ll receive faithful Bible preaching and teaching. Why the emphasis on Scripture? First, it’s the Bible that brings people to genuine faith in the Savior--Jesus Christ: “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Secondly, receiving Scripture in our hearts and minds is what enables us to grow to spiritual maturity: “… desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby” (1 Peter 2:2). At Swansea Church, you’ll find many ways to live out your relationship with God: worship, evangelism, discipleship, ministry, and fellowship. We have ministries for the entire family, from infants through senior adults. If you’re looking for a church home in the Swansea area, we’d be delighted if you would visit with us as a guest in one of our worship services. We meet Sunday morning at 10:45 AM, Sunday evening at 6:15 PM, and on Wednesday, we have a prayer meeting/Bible study at 6:15 PM. May God bless you as you seek His will for your life.
